North American made products

With the influx of overseas manufactured products we are seeing a dramatic reduction of quality in aftermarket truck accessories. For example stainless steel products such as mud flaps that are made with inferior quality of hardware that may rust or not hold up to the harsher Canadian climates. Companies based in Canada or the U.S. are more cognizant of insuring their products use the highest quality of materials to withstand our road and weather conditions. Never mind the fact we are supporting companies and people that work and contribute here in North America instead of companies that support cheap labor in overseas countries. In the long run spending a little more money on products manufactured in Canada will insure the availibilty of better quality of products and help sustain a stronger economy in our own country. Why support manufacturers in other countries when we need support local North American companies and the people who work for them including myself and all Canadians.
